Character description:Physical wise, she's 5'8", and of about average build. Eyes are a greenish blue colour, and she has red hair which is somewhat long in length, along with a fringe at the front. She's seen wearing a range of outfits, some of which were only worn to save her from standing out in whichever time period she happened to be in.
Personality wise, she's independent, and not one to be easily pushed aside. She has a sharp tongue and isn't afraid to speak her mind when the situation calls for it, although she's shown to be level-headed and can grasp many concepts quite easily. Despite her firey temper, she's a very compassionate person who's always willing to do the right thing. Deep down, she doesn't quite realise just how important she is, despite being told otherwise, and she's often known to protest that she's nothing special, but
"just a temp." Despite everything, she's often the voice of reason, especially to The Doctor.
History:For most of her life she hadn't done anything out of the ordinary, then in June 2007, she started working with security firm H.C. Clements, as a temporary secretary. On her first day she met head of Human Resources, Lance Bennett, and was instantly smitten with him when he made her a cup of coffee, something he continued to do for her every day. On Donna's insistance, the pair were soon engaged, and the wedding was planned for December 24th, 2007 (Donna mentioning this was because of her hatred for Christmas, and wanting to spend it somewhere sunny (Morocco)).
Unbeknown to her, Lance had been dosing her coffee with Huon Particles, under the orders of the Empress of the Racnoss. This led to her meeting The Doctor, for on the day of her wedding, the particles activated due to the emotions running through her body, and she was pulled on board the TARDIS.
Before this, Donna wasn't one to believe in anything out of the ordinary, often "missing the bigger picture" as stated by The Doctor, this shown by the fact she missed both the Sycorax ship and the Cybermen invasion. She initially thought she had been kidnapped when she found herself aboard the TARDIS, although upon realising she was in space, she slowly got used to the idea, especially after being rescued from a pilot fish by The Doctor. By the end of the day, she had found out that Lance had been using her all along, although she didn't have much time to say anything about it, as he was killed by the Racnoss. As soon as it was all over and done with, she ultimately declined The Doctor's offer to travel with him after her assistance, not thinking she could get used to that life.
It wasn't long before she started to regret it though, and while she attempted to travel on Earth (having went to Egypt for two weeks not long after the event), she quickly found her life was lacking the excitement she'd experienced that day, and went to work finding The Doctor, which involved looking into any unexplained happenings, where he might show up. This eventually led her to Adipose Industries, where the pair were reunited.

Role Play Example:Donna stepped out of the TARDIS, glancing around as she closed the doors behind her. She shook her head, laughing quietly to herself.
"Travelled through time and space, yet this is the first time I've been to Cardiff. Brilliant." she muttered, shoving her hands in her pockets as she started walking, her eyes still scanning the area as she did. She had
just about managed to get the gist of why they were here, picking up something about needing to refuel The TARDIS, in the midst of The Doctor's ramblings. She had raised her eyebrow at this, never having thought about it before, and even if she had, she certainly wouldn't have thought they'd have to stop off in
Cardiff of all places, for a pit stop.
When he started tinkering with The TARDIS she decided to go off for a look around on her own, rather than just stand around waiting. She turned a corner, stopping for a moment as she looked around curiously, wondering where to go next...
